From: Roland McGrath Date: Tue, 24 Jun 2008 11:16:52 +0000 (-0700) Subject: i386 syscall audit fast-path X-Git-Tag: v2.6.27-rc1~846^2 X-Git-Url: https://err.no/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?a=commitdiff_plain;h=af0575bba0f46dd9054d46e0a88c57afad3bf4d2;p=linux-2.6 i386 syscall audit fast-path This adds fast paths for 32-bit syscall entry and exit when TIF_SYSCALL_AUDIT is set, but no other kind of syscall tracing. These paths does not need to save and restore all registers as the general case of tracing does. Avoiding the iret return path when syscall audit is enabled helps performance a lot.
